Staff Bios
Pastor Aaron
Aaron Terry is the lead pastor of Lakepointe Community Church, formerly known as Lakewood Bible Fellowship. He stepped in as pastor in September of 2019.
Pastor Aaron has a burning desire to see the lost radically transformed through Christ. Having grown up in ministry, this call upon his life has led him to serve in various ministries locally and globally. He also serves as a board member to Globelink Foundation, a worldwide mission organization with affiliations in multiple countries.
Aaron and his wife Lark have six children and reside in Sulphur, LA.
Lark Terry
Lark Terry is the Creative director. She serves as the worship and Sunday morning experience director. She has served in the mission field and lived for a while in Ghana Africa. Lark is also the third grade teacher at Bible Baptist Academy. She is passionate about spreading the Gospel and sharing her love for Christ with others.
Casey Johnson
Casey Johnson is the youth director at Lakepointe Community Church. He is the father of two young men who serve along side with him. He has overseen the youth group as they have continued to grow in numbers and grow spiritually. We have a dynamic and diverse group of young people that we are so very proud of. Our youth is also highly involved in all aspects of our church service and do an amazing job.
Gabby Lowder
Gabrielle Lowder is our children's director. She grew up being involved with children's ministry since she was a teenager and has a heart for the children to learn and know The Lords voice and have their own relationship with Him. She is also a teacher at Covenant Grace Academy.
Gabby and her husband, Robbie Lowder serve along side each other and in other areas of the Church.
Craig and Angie McCune
Craig and Angie are retired, living in Lake Charles, with 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. They have had past experiences leading small groups and are currently the directors of small groups at Lakepointe. They believe drawing closer to God and leaning more and more on the Holy Spirit every day is essential to Christian living and hope to encourage others to do the same.
Kathleen Guillory
Kathleen serves as our connections director. She connects our church with the local community and assists with connecting new members to the programs offered by the church. She loves to hang with out friends and believes that humans connections are vital to church growth. Kathleen works for the Lake Charles Fire Department and lives in Lake Charles with her husband Troy and two chidren.
Michelle Hoffpauir
Michelle Hoffpauir serves as the Administrative Assistant and loves to work in the church office and see God's hand multiply and grow through the giving of the church. When she is not working part time in the office, she stays busy with her family of 6.
